Inspired by a family of artists, her world has always been full of color, creativity, and exposure to many forms of art. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland has always been home. With a B.S. Degree in Business from University of Baltimore, and three little children off to school everyday, she began creating jewelry as gifts for family and friends.

Jennifer King Designs was launched in 2004 when her simple designs using glass beads and base metal were being sold at a local boutique in Mt. Airy, Maryland. Over time, those simple designs and materials evolved into a jewelry collection of fine metals, pearls and natural gemstones. In 2007, Lilac Bijoux, an upscale boutique in Annapolis held a “Next Hot Jewelry Designer” contest, naming Jennifer as the winner.

Her designs can now be found in select retailers, Robert Redford's SUNDANCE Catalog, and online. Through her online shop at Etsy.com, she has sold her designs throughout the USA and worldwide including the UK, Australia, Paris, Spain, Canada and Japan.

Brilliant gemstones and hammered metals coupled with her artful eye result in timeless designs that are simple, elegant and a bit rustic. Sterling silver, 14k gold filled and semi - precious stones are featured in jewelry designed to be worn with your favorite jeans or little black dress. Nature is a constant source of inspiration, especially the beauty of the countryside outside of her studio, the mountains, and the sand and sea where she spends most of the summer.
